Who we are and what we do.
The story behind Eds.Change
Eds.Change was created as a direct result of the work Eds. does with local schools and organisations. The founders noticed a distinct lack of support for young adults with disabilities in the local community and wanted to create a life skill program post school. The program aims to support these young adults transitioning from school, allowing them to have access to tertiary education and similar experiences to their peers. Whilst options to enter employment were available, they did not suit a large amount of the community.
What we do.
Eds.Change staff have pre-existing relationships with local schools, young people, parents/carers and community organisations. Therefore, Eds.Change staff have first hand knowledge of the issues children and young adults with disabilities are experiencing.
